Who You're Actually Hiring
Husky Coatings opened in 2024. Before that, Luke was installing these same systems for another company in the trade here in Kern County. He started Husky with Aaron to run it the way they both thought it ought to be run.
We install epoxy, polyaspartic and polyurea coatings over your existing concrete — garages, patios, pool decks, commercial kitchens, warehouses and industrial floors across Bakersfield and Kern County. We don’t pour concrete and we don’t do grind and seal. We do coatings, and we would rather be the best in town at one thing than average at five.
There are six of us. Luke owns the company and Aaron is his partner. Jacob answers the phone, so when you call during business hours you get a person rather than a queue. Edgar, Daniel and Sergio do the installs. That is the entire company — the same crew that turns up at your house is the one you spoke to on the phone.

Weather, schedule changes, tricky slabs, surprise issues on site — we don’t just throw up our hands. We don’t want to be the biggest coating company; we want to be the best one our customers ever deal with. That means every job we expect our systems, our installs, and our people to be a little sharper than the last one. We use training, checklists, and honest feedback to cut callbacks, tighten quality, and raise our own bar. Mistakes aren’t brushed under the rug — they are fuel for getting better so the next homeowner gets an even smoother experience.
What To Expect
Most two-car garages are finished in a single day. You can walk on the floor the next day, and drive on it after 48 to 72 hours depending on the temperature. Larger or more complex jobs can take two or three days, and we will tell you which before we start.
You do not need to be home. As long as we can get to the space, we will take care of it while you are at work. Our products are low odor and non-toxic once cured, so pets and kids are fine once we are finished. On commercial work we run nights and weekends so you do not have to close.
Warranty
Every floor we install is backed by a written warranty covering peeling, chipping and delamination under normal use.
Garage floors carry 10 years to lifetime coverage depending on the system. Exterior surfaces like patios, pool decks and walkways run 3 to 10 years. Commercial floors are covered up to 3 years.

Paws for a Purpose
We are named after a dog, so this one matters to us. Through our Paws for a Purpose program, a portion of every job we complete goes to local animal shelters, helping huskies and other dogs in Kern County find homes.
Every floor we install puts something back.
